Click on the links below to view heatmaps of Group A calls for service (CFS) that the City of Salisbury Police Department has responded to. Maps produced prior to 2023 shared to this page utilized police beats and the the FBI’s Uniform Crime Reporting (UCR) Program classifications to visualize crime data. Maps produced from 2023 onward utilize an updated crime reporting system known as the National Incident-Based Reporting System (NIBRS) to create heatmaps of all "Group A" incidents, and select Group A incidents of particular concern. Click on links below to view maps of Part One crimes by police beat. The City of Salisbury has approximately 130 "beats" or reporting areas. New “beats” are added as land is annexed into the city. Beats vary considerably in size. “Part One” crimes are selected offenses police agencies must report to the FBI’s Uniform Crime Reporting Program and include Murder, Non-Negligent Manslaughter, Forcible Rape, Robbery, Aggravated Assault, Burglary, Larceny-Theft, Motor Vehicle Theft, Human Trafficking, and Arson
