City Clerk's Office
The Clerk's Office is the custodian of the City Seal and the legal records of the City of Salisbury.
Below are some of the responsibilities of the Clerk’s Office:
- prepares and maintains minutes of all City Council meetings,
- serves as support to the City Council,
- prepares and publishes meeting agendas and packets,
- prepares ceremonial documents from the Council,
- manages the Clerk/Council Internship Program, and
- manages records retention for the City in accordance with state approved retention schedules.
The City Clerk serves as the liaison to the City Election Board & Wicomico County Board of Elections.
