2026 Comprehensive plan update

Welcome to the City of Salisbury’s page providing information and updates regarding the update of the City’s Comprehensive Plan.

The Draft Plan has been submitted to the Maryland Department of Planning (MDP) and Salisbury’s neighboring jurisdictions (i.e., Wicomico County, the City of Fruitland and the Town of Delmar, MD) for the State-required 60 day review.

The Planning Commission will review comments received, make any necessary revisions, and will schedule a Public Hearing prior to forwarding the Plan to the City Council for its consideration.
