Salisbury– In partnership with M4 Reactor, with funding provided by CDBG, the City of Salisbury is excited to announce the opening of the application period for acrylic barriers and other PPE to the local business community.

As part of Mayor Day’s NEXT STEP Plan for Relief and Recovery, Mayor Jacob Day announced $87,000 for acrylic barriers for small businesses, made locally by M4 Reactor. The application period will be live for a period of two weeks and will close June 10, 2020 at 11:59 PM. Salisbury businesses are eligible to apply for up to $1,000 worth of acrylic barriers and/or distancing stickers that can be adhered to the floor. Applications will be received and vetted during the two week period and all eligible applications will be entered into a lottery system. Lottery winners will be chosen and notified after June 15, 2020.

Mayor Jacob Day says, “We are excited to offer this opportunity to our local business community in partnership with M4 Reactor. We recognize the impact this pandemic has had on our local business community and we hope that this funding will allow them to continue offering their services in a safer and more protected environment.”
