    Employee of the Month Nomination

    Eligibility All nominees must be a City of Salisbury full-time employee.  Employees are ineligible if they are on disciplinary probation, are serving as an Employee of the Month judge, are a Department Head, or have been recognized as the Employee of the Month (EOTM) in the current calendar year.

    Nominations are due by the last day of each month (i.e. September 30th to be considered as the September ETOM.)

    • Please describe why the employee should be selected as Employee of the Month in each of the follow sections. Provide specifics details and/or examples of what the nominee did during the month that would make them the ideal candidate.
    • Accountability: Taking responsibility for decisions and actions. Continuous Improvement: Seeking innovative, flexible ways to serve our community better. Diversity: Embracing differences and valuing the variety in our workforce and community. Environment: Protecting and enhancing our natural, historic, and economic resources for future generations. Ethics: Acting with integrity and upholding high standards of conduct. Respect: Treating coworkers and the public with courtesy and dignity. Integrity: Being honest and transparent in words and actions. Safety: Promoting safe neighborhoods, workplaces, and public spaces through care and prevention. Teamwork: Collaborating, communicating openly, and working together to achieve goals. Trust: Building public confidence by living up to our commitments and values.
    • Taking proactive steps to identify opportunities, solve problems, and contribute beyond what is expected, demonstrating resourcefulness and a commitment to positive outcomes.
