The mission of the Environmental Policy Task force is to help the City of Salisbury establish a framework for establishing long-term sustainability goals in order to become a more resilient City and community.

The task force is charged with:
1. Reviewing the 2008 plan and determining priority of initiatives not yet implemented
2. Working with City staff to establish and prioritize broad sustainability goals, detailing measurable objectives and actions to achieve those goals.
3. Form official recommendations that will serve as the backbone of the City of Salisbury Sustainability plan.
