On Tuesdays and Thursdays from March through May, Wicomico County Parks and Recreation, in partnership with the Salisbury City Police Department and Wicomico County State’s Attorney’s Office will run a lacrosse skills program for 20 boys in grades 6-8.
The boys can expect to learn the basics of lacrosse and will receive mentoring from some of the county’s top high school and college lacrosse players and coaches. Additionally, this is a VTS (Values Through Sports) program so the boys can expect to learn from coaches and players values such as teamwork, perseverance, leadership, honesty, and integrity—players will come to understand how these values translate to success both on and off the field of play.
There is NO COST for the 20 players. All equipment (sticks, gloves, pads, helmets, goals, balls, etc.) have been provided by the Salisbury Police Department and Wicomico County State’s Attorney’s Office. There are only slots for 20 players.
