The City of Salisbury Fire Prevention Code requires that the Fire Department be notified when any fire protection system is out of service and on restoration of service. Additionally, the Salisbury Fire Department may require an approved fire watch be provided for all portions left unprotected by the fire protection system shutdown until the fire protection system has been returned to service.
Fire protection system include, but are not limited to:
- Fire Alarm & Detection Systems
- Fire Sprinkler Systems
- Fire Pumps
- Standpipe Systems
To report an impairment to a fire protection system complete both steps below:
- Call the Salisbury Fire Department Administrative Headquarters at (410)548-3120 request the Fire Protection Impairment Line, extension 1811, and leave a message;
- Email the impairment form to [email protected] or it may be printed and faxed to (410)548-3121.
