The City of Salisbury partnered with the Maryland Silver Jackets Team, a collaborative group of federal, state and local agencies working to reduce flood risk in Maryland. From October 2024 to January 2025, the team hosted small stakeholder group meetings to assess the needs of residents, business owners, and other stakeholders.
The stakeholders identified a need for easy access to flood related information. This page was created to provide essential resources for those impacted by flooding.

The MD Silver Jackets Team participated in the 50th Anniversary of Hurricane Agnes Commemoration and partnered with other states to develop a story map. The story map has great information about Hurricane Agnes in addition to general flood preparedness and mitigation information and resources:
