    Updated Distribution Policy for IRS Form 1095-C

    Due to recent changes in IRS regulations, the City of Salisbury will no longer automatically furnish IRS Form 1095-C to insured active employees, former employees or retirees beginning with the 2025 tax year. 

    Instead, individuals who wish to receive a copy of their 2025 Form 1095-C must request it directly. To obtain the form, please email Melissa Obert at [email protected]. Requested forms will be provided by March 1, 2026. 

    Form 1095-C provides information about health insurance coverage offered by employers and may be useful when filing federal tax returns. While the form is no longer required for filing in many cases, individuals are encouraged to consult a tax professional to determine their specific needs.
