    City to Begin Milling and Paving Work in Fitzwater Street Area

    SALISBURY, Maryland — The City of Salisbury Department of Field Operations would like to make the public aware that a contractor will be working on milling and paving on 1st and 2nd Streets from Dec. 18-20, 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. 

    Residents should remove their cars from the street before work begins on Dec. 18. Others should exercise caution when traveling in the area.

    Weather permitting, the work will begin on schedule and be completed by Dec. 20. However, air temperatures will have an impact on the timeline as asphalt cannot be laid in temperatures below freezing. Any changes to the timeline will be communicated.
