The City of Salisbury Department of Infrastructure and Development announces a scheduled lane closure on Beaglin Park Drive between North Park Drive and South Park Drive beginning Monday, Dec. 8.
On Monday, Dec. 8, and Tuesday, Dec. 9, from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., the two southbound lanes of Beaglin Park Drive will be closed to allow for maintenance of the Beaglin Park Dam. Southbound traffic will be merged into a single lane and shifted into the northbound turn lane, which will be temporarily converted into a through lane.
The left northbound lane will be modified to allow both turning onto North Park Drive and continuing straight. The right northbound lane will remain unchanged.
In addition to the lane closures, the sidewalk on the dam will be closed to pedestrian traffic. A total of five flaggers will be on-site to assist with traffic control and safety.
These changes are necessary to accommodate scheduled dam maintenance. Drivers and pedestrians should expect minor delays and are encouraged to plan ahead.
The City of Salisbury appreciates the public’s patience and cooperation as this important work is completed.
