The City of Salisbury’s Department of Waterworks Utilities Division will conduct an emergency sewer lateral repair today, Tuesday, Nov. 25, as part of ongoing efforts to improve and maintain the city’s sewer collection system.
The repair will take place in the 300 block of Pond Street. As a result, Pond Street will be closed to through traffic from Buena Vista Avenue to East Carroll Street beginning at 5 p.m. Work is expected to conclude by approximately 2 a.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 26, barring any unforeseen circumstances.
All utility locators and Central Alarm have been notified of the work.
