    City Announces Road Closures and Traffic Routes for Salisbury Jaycees’ 79th Annual Christmas Parade

    November 25, 2025

    Salisbury, MD –– Mountaire Farms presents the 79th Annual Salisbury Christmas Parade, hosted by the Salisbury Jaycees, on Sunday, December 7. In partnership with the City of Salisbury, the parade will follow its traditional route, concluding at City Park on East Main Street. Festivities will begin at 1 p.m. at the corner of Civic Avenue and Mt. Hermon Road and proceed along East Main Street to the park, with the parade concluding at 3 p.m.

    Road Closures:
    To ensure the safety of participants and spectators, the following roads will be closed during the event:

    1. Civic Ave. from Glen Ave to Mt. Hermon Rd
    1. Mt. Hermon Road from Civic Ave. to E. Main
    1. E. Main Street from Long Ave. to Snow Hill Road
    1. E. William St. from Naylor St. to Long Ave.
    1. E. Main Street from Rt. 50 to Long Ave.
    1. Long Ave. from Rt. 50 to Mt. Hermon Rd
    1. Glen Ave. from Davis St. to E. Main
    1. Davis St. from E. William to Glen Ave.

    Residents and visitors are encouraged to plan alternate routes during these times.
