Beginning Monday, Nov. 17, through Wednesday, Nov. 19, Lake Street will be closed from Route 50 to West Main Street (beside Perdue) as crews perform maintenance on the stormwater system and install a plan to install a tide gate to help control flooding in the area.
Work will take place daily from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. During this time, the roadway will be barricaded to all vehicles except those that have been preapproved. A detour route will be posted to assist drivers in navigating around the closure. Please plan ahead to avoid the closure for the safety of those working in the area.
