SALISBURY, Maryland — The City of Salisbury Infrastructure & Development Department announces upcoming road maintenance activities to enhance the safety and quality of our local streets.
On Monday, Oct. 30, Division Street at Unity Square will temporarily close from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. to facilitate essential pavement patching (weather-dependent). This road maintenance operation is part of our ongoing commitment to maintaining and improving the infrastructure in Salisbury.
The closure of Division Street is expected to last until the completion of the pavement patching project. Once the work on Division Street is finished, the road will be reopened to traffic. In the interest of public safety and the efficient completion of the maintenance activities, it is essential that motorists and pedestrians adhere to all posted detours and temporary traffic control measures during this period.
Following the completion of the Division Street pavement patching, the City’s Infrastructure & Development Department will shift its attention to Camden Street, which will be temporarily closed for similar pavement patching until the work is successfully completed. Additional information and updates regarding the Camden Street closure will be provided as the project progresses.
The City of Salisbury appreciates the patience and cooperation of residents and commuters during these necessary road maintenance activities. We are committed to ensuring the safety and convenience of our community while preserving the longevity and quality of our roadways.
