Use Mill Street Detour Going Westbound on Isabella Street

    September 17, 2024

SALISBURY, Maryland — The westbound lane of Isabella Street between Mill and Lake Streets will be closed from Tuesday, Sept. 17,  into next week for public safety because of necessary road repairs. Please use Mill Street to Route 50 Business as a detour to get to the west side of the river.

The City of Salisbury Department of Field Operations team coned off a 75-foot section of the road on Monday, but concern over the two-way traffic traveling through that area in one lane has forced a complete westbound closure.

“We will have a contractor out as early as possible to make the repair next week,” Director of Field Operations Mike Dryden said. “We appreciate your patience and caution when navigating around the area.”
