Through an intuitive map overlaid with a grid of Salisbury’s neighborhoods, users can click any grid cell to view a detailed breakdown of incident types—such as thefts, burglaries, assaults, and more—that occurred within that area during the 28-day window. This feature provides both broad trends and street-level insights, enhancing public situational awareness and safety preparedness.
As part of its safety awareness initiative, the City also offers the following tips to help residents protect themselves and their property:

- Keep homes and outbuildings locked and well-lit.
- Stay aware of your surroundings and avoid poorly lit areas at night.
- Call 911 immediately in the event of an emergency.
