The City of Salisbury Utilities Division will be conducting a citywide Public Water Main Flushing Program. The purpose of this annual program is to improve water quality, improve the health of our water system, and ensure fire hydrants are operational and in good working order.
To minimize inconvenience, we will be flushing the central portion of the public water system (pictured below in blue) at night between 7:00 pm and 5:00 am on the following dates:
Sunday, September 18 – Thursday September 22
The remainder of the system (pictured below in yellow) will be flushed during business hours on the following dates:
Monday, September 26 – Friday, September 30
