    Schedule Update: Sewer Line Work in Downtown Salisbury

    SALISBURY, Maryland — The City of Salisbury’s Department of Infrastructure and Development (DID) issues a schedule update for downtown sewer line cleaning, inspection, and smoke testing, with the contractor continuing the work on Saturday, September 13, 2025, for project completion.

    Remaining work includes:

    • Smoke testing across the full project area.
        • E. Market Street
        • W. Market Street
        • Poplar Hill Avenue
        • Baptist Street
        • Calvert Street (between Baptist Street and Poplar Hill Avenue)
    • Sewer cleaning and CCTV inspection on Baptist Street (between E. Main St. and E. Market St.) and Camden Street.

    As with earlier phases:

    • An updated notification letter will be distributed to affected businesses.
    • Fire and police departments will again be notified in advance.
