SALISBURY, Maryland — On Sept. 9, 2024, the Salisbury City Council approved an award of bid for a new parking management system in the Circle Avenue Parking Garage. During Monday’s regular meeting, the Council voted unanimously to move forward with T2 Systems as the new vendor.
T2 Systems was founded in 1994 and provides a comprehensive parking management system utilized by many municipalities and institutions of higher learning in the Mid-Atlantic Region including Salisbury University. The system will help the City manage payments, permitting and enforcement and will include mobile payment options and support for pay stations.
The City is moving on from our previous vendor after a failed implementation in the garage which began in February.
“We are pleased to have found a workable and scalable solution with T2 Systems that can grow with us as needed,” Director of Field Operation Mike Dryden said. “We understand the frustration that garage users felt when the previous system was launched and we are happy with the change in technology and process as well as the responsiveness of T2.”
More information will be unveiled on the City’s overall parking plan as the new technologies are implemented over the next couple of months.
