Pet Oxygen Masks donated to the Department

    September 1, 2017

Pet Mask 2     Pet Mask 1

Last July 8, 2016 the Salisbury Fire Department responded to a house fire on Log Cabin Road where crews rescued a Pit Bull from the house and quickly gave the unconscious dog oxygen via Pet Oxygen Mask previously donated by the Salisbury Kennel Club.  On August 19, 2017 Acting Lieutenant Michael Carbaugh had the opportunity to speak to the Salisbury Kennel Club on the importance of having the Pet Oxygen Masks on emergency equipment and then accepted additional Pet Oxygen Masks as a donation by the Salisbury Kennel Club Charitable Trust.  The masks are currently located on the first due command vehicles responding to emergency events.
