SALISBURY, Md. — As part of the City of Salisbury’s ongoing efforts to improve, repair, and maintain the sewer collection system, the Department of Field Operations Utilities Division will replace a section of sewer main in the 200 block of Long Avenue on Thursday, August 20.
To accommodate the work, Long Avenue will be closed to all traffic from Parkway Avenue to Glen Avenue. Work will begin at approximately 7:00 a.m. and is expected to conclude around 3:30 p.m., barring any unforeseen circumstances.
All locators and Central Alarm will be notified of the work. Motorists are encouraged to use caution in the area and seek alternate routes while the closure is in place.
The City appreciates the community’s patience and cooperation as this necessary infrastructure work is completed.
