SALISBURY, Maryland — Downtown Salisbury is excited to welcome Salisbury University students as they move into The Ross on Friday, August 22, 2025. Parking Authority staff will be on-site to assist with traffic flow throughout the day on August 22nd.
To accommodate move-in activity, Camden Street Alley will be temporarily closed with the following details:
- Closure Area: Camden Street from the Baptist Street entrance to the rear exit of the Circle Avenue Garage
- Closure Begins: Thursday, August 21 at ~2:00 PM
- Reopens: Monday, August 25 at 9:00 AM
- Alternate Routes: East Main Street and Circle Avenue will remain open and can be used to access South Division Street and surrounding areas
We ask residents, visitors, and commuters to please plan accordingly, stay alert around the area, and consider alternate routes during the closure.
While you’re downtown, take time to enjoy what makes Salisbury special: a thriving district full of local shops, vibrant arts, welcoming restaurants, and walkable streets that create a lively, friendly atmosphere.
After move-in, don’t miss On The Edge performing at Brew River on Friday August 22 from 6–9 PM. This upbeat waterfront concert is part of The Sound Bites Tour, raising funds to support the upcoming Maryland Folk Festival, taking place September 19–21.
