Salisbury – As the District Engineer for District 1 of the State Highway Administration (SHA), I am writing to inform you of upcoming Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) sidewalk repair work that SHA will be performing that will affect the traveling public within the City of Salisbury.
Beginning at 8 a.m. on Wednesday morning August 9th, crews will be removing and replacing sidewalks near US 13 and Milford Street. This work will necessitate a one-day detour around the area. The detour route will be fully signed utilizing the City’s streets of S. Division, Honeysuckle Drive and Canal Park Drive. Motorists will be guided through the detour by cones, flaggers, signs, and variable message boards. Weather permitting, work is anticipated to be completed by 4 p.m. Wednesday.
We realize that roadwork is disruptive to the traveling public; and we appreciate your patience as we make these necessary repairs.
Thank you for your continued support of the Maryland Department of Transportation State Highway Administration, and if you should have any questions or need additional information, please contact Mark Crampton at 410-677-4006 or [email protected]
