Road Closure Scheduled for Portion of North Park Drive Due to Wastewater Infrastructure Improvements

    July 20, 2026

Salisbury, MD — The City of Salisbury would like to notify residents and motorists of an upcoming temporary road closure on North Park Drive related to ongoing wastewater infrastructure improvements in the area.

Work is scheduled to begin on Monday, July 27, 2026, and is expected to take approximately one month to complete.

The closure will take place between 127 and 129 North Park Drive. During construction, residents will continue to have access to their homes; however, North Park Drive will not be accessible as a through street from one end to the other. Residents and visitors must enter and exit the roadway using the side of the street closest to their residence.

In addition, on-street parking near the work zone will be limited throughout the duration of the project to ensure safe working conditions for crews and the public.

The City understands the inconvenience temporary construction may cause and appreciates the community’s patience and cooperation as these important infrastructure improvements are completed.

Motorists are encouraged to use caution in the area, follow posted signage, and allow for additional travel time when necessary.

For questions regarding the project or road closure, please contact the Department of Water Works at 410-548-3180.
