Traffic Signal Upgrades Scheduled for E. Main Street at the Intersections of Snow Hill Road, and Ward Street

    July 17, 2025

SALISBURY, Maryland — The City of Salisbury will begin upgrades to the traffic signals at the intersections of E. Main Street/Snow Hill Road and E. Main Street/Ward Street starting Monday, July 28th through Friday, August 1st, between 7:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. daily, weather permitting.

Both intersections will receive traffic signal upgrades to replace outdated technology as part of the City’s continued commitment to public safety and infrastructure improvement.

During the project, traffic control will be in place, but roads will remain open with flagging operations. Motorists should anticipate possible delays and are encouraged to use caution when traveling through the work zone, following all posted signage and instructions from traffic control personnel.

Drivers who can take alternative routes are encouraged to use Route 50 or Route 13 to avoid the area.

The City of Salisbury appreciates the public’s patience and cooperation as we complete this essential upgrade safely and efficiently.
