    City of Salisbury Announces Temporary Road Closure for Sewer Lateral Repair on Martin Street

    July 15, 2026

    Salisbury, MD – As part of the City of Salisbury’s ongoing commitment to maintaining and improving its sewer collection system, the Department of Waterworks Utilities Division will conduct a sewer lateral repair on Wednesday, July 15, 2026, in the 400 block of Martin Street.

    To safely complete the work, Martin Street will be closed to through traffic between Brown Street and Baker Street beginning at 7 a.m. The repair is expected to be completed by approximately 3:30 p.m., weather and unforeseen conditions permitting.

    Residents and motorists are encouraged to plan alternate routes and use caution when traveling in the area. Utility locators and Central Alarm have been notified of the scheduled work.

    The City of Salisbury appreciates the public’s patience and cooperation as crews complete these necessary infrastructure improvements.
