Temporary Road Closure on Glen Avenue for Sewer System Improvements

SALISBURY, Maryland — Beginning Monday, July 7 through Friday, July 18, the City of Salisbury’s Department of Waterworks will conduct essential improvements to the Glen Avenue lift station as part of ongoing efforts to improve, repair, and maintain the City’s Sewer Collection System.

During this time, Glen Avenue — from Beaver Dam Drive/Parkway Avenue to Hillside Drive/Long Avenue — will be closed to through traffic around the clock. Due to the nature of the work, the road will remain closed 24/7 until the project is complete. Access will be available for local traffic only.

Motorists and pedestrians are advised to seek alternative routes and use caution in the area.
