SALISBURY, Maryland – The City of Salisbury is thrilled to announce the completion of the resurfacing project at the City Park tennis courts—a key part of our ongoing commitment to improving recreational spaces across the city. This much-anticipated upgrade got the ball rolling on a fresh season of outdoor fun and reflects our continued efforts to enhance recreational amenities citywide.
To celebrate, we’re inviting the public to join us for a grand reopening event on Monday, June 30, 2025, from 5:00–7:00 P.M. (weather permitting). The event will feature a special twist on the traditional ribbon cutting: swapping out the scissors for a tennis racket, Mayor Randy Taylor will “serve the community,” officially welcoming players back to the courts with a ceremonial opening serve.
Whether you’re ready to rally, working on your backhand, or just love a good community celebration, swing by for the festivities, connect with neighbors, and enjoy the revitalized courts in the heart of Salisbury’s scenic City Park.
The City Park Tennis Courts are located just off North Park Drive, between Beaver Dam Drive and Main Street.

Let’s rally together and make this a grand slam celebration!
