SALISBURY, Md. – As part of the City of Salisbury’s ongoing efforts to improve, repair and maintain its water distribution system, the Department of Waterworks Utilities Division will replace a fire hydrant in the 800 block of Eastern Shore Drive on Thursday, June 25.
The work will require a temporary single-lane traffic pattern on westbound Eastern Shore Drive between West Lincoln Avenue and Fulton Street. Construction is scheduled to begin at 9 a.m. and conclude by approximately 3:30 p.m., weather and site conditions permitting.
Utility locators and Central Alarm have been notified of the work. Motorists are encouraged to use caution in the area and expect minor delays during construction.
The City appreciates the public’s patience and cooperation as crews complete this necessary infrastructure improvement.
