SALISBURY, Maryland – Downtown Salisbury will experience temporary road closures and increased foot traffic on Saturday, June 28, due to the annual Salisbury Pride Parade and Festival hosted by PFLAG Salisbury. Residents and visitors are advised to plan accordingly as portions of the Downtown Plaza and surrounding streets will be closed to vehicle traffic throughout the day. The annual Salisbury Pride Parade and Festival hosted by PFLAG will feature live entertainment, local vendors, food trucks, and family-friendly activities, drawing large crowds and activating public spaces across the downtown area.
Road Closures Begin Saturday, June 28:
- Noon – 8 P.M. Division Street will be closed from Rt. 50 to Circle Avenue
- Main Street will be closed from W. Market Street to Court Street
- Camden Street will be closed
- 2 – 3:30 P.M. W. Market Street will be closed from Circle Ave. to Mill Street
Attendees are encouraged to park in the parking garage and other open downtown City lots. Parking is free in Downtown Salisbury on nights and weekends—just plan ahead and steer clear of closed areas.
The Salisbury Pride Festival, hosted by PFLAG Salisbury, will take place from 2:00 to 6:30 p.m. in the downtown area. The event provides an opportunity for residents and visitors to participate in scheduled public activities, support local arts and visit downtown businesses. As a reminder, Downtown Salisbury will be filled with fun and excitement, starting with Shop & Snack, a community-centered event happening from 12 – 3 p.m. leading into the Salisbury Pride Festival. This afternoon invites residents and visitors to explore downtown shops while enjoying complimentary small bites from local eateries. As shoppers visit each stop, they’ll be treated to grab-and-go finger foods, dips, and charcuterie-style snacks provided by local restaurants. Each eatery will offer small bites on a first-come, first-served basis inside participating retail locations. Every stop will feature a tabletop display highlighting the featured restaurant. Visitors are encouraged to look for participating Shop & Snack establishments throughout Downtown during the event.
