City of Salisbury to Replace Fire Hydrant on E. Church Street

    June 24, 2025

SALISBURY, Maryland  –  As part of the City of Salisbury’s ongoing efforts to improve and maintain critical infrastructure, the Department of Waterworks Utilities Division will be replacing a fire hydrant in the 800 block of E. Church Street on Wednesday, June 25, 2025.

To ensure the safety of crews and the public, E. Church Street will be closed to all through traffic between Marshall Street and Clay Street during the work. The project is scheduled to begin at 7:00 a.m. and is expected to conclude by 3:30 p.m., weather permitting and barring any unforeseen circumstances.

All utility locators and Central Alarm have been notified to ensure proper coordination and public safety.

We appreciate the patience and understanding of residents and motorists as we complete this essential infrastructure improvement.

For more information, please contact the City of Salisbury Utilities Division at 410-548-3103.
