North Park Drive Extension to Temporarily Close for Tree Maintenance

    June 20, 2025

SALISBURY, Maryland — The City of Salisbury will temporarily close a section of North Park Drive Extension on Wednesday, June 25, 2025, from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. to perform necessary maintenance on trees located near the roadway.

This work is being performed to address a potential safety hazards. Tree maintenance is occasionally required when limbs or overall tree conditions present a potential risk to motorists, pedestrians, and park visitors. Addressing these concerns proactively helps prevent accidents and ensures safe travel through the area.

During the closure, traffic will be detoured around the work zone. Drivers are encouraged to use alternate routes and follow posted signage. Access to nearby park areas will remain open via alternate entrances.

The City thanks the public for their understanding as we take proactive steps to maintain a safe and welcoming environment.
