City of Salisbury Announces Naylor Mill Water Main Extension Project

    June 18, 2026

SALISBURY, Md. – The City of Salisbury announces the Naylor Mill Water Main Extension Project, with construction by an outside contractor scheduled to begin on Monday, June 29, 2026. The project is expected to be completed in June 2027.

The purposes of this project are to extend water service and provide reliable, high-quality drinking water to the area.

The project area will extend from Scenic Drive to Ed Taylor Road and is part of the City’s continued efforts to improve water infrastructure and service reliability.

During construction, the roadway will remain open to traffic under one-lane traffic control operations. Motorists are encouraged to use caution, expect possible delays, and follow all posted signage and flagging personnel throughout the work zone.

Construction activities are expected to take place Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The City appreciates the public’s patience and cooperation as this important infrastructure improvement project moves forward. Additional updates will be provided as the project progresses.
