    City Informs Residents Offices Closed for Juneteenth and Road Closures for Juneteenth Parade and Festival

    SALISBURY, Maryland — The City of Salisbury informs residents that City offices will be closed on Wednesday, June 19, 2025, in celebration of Juneteenth.

    In honor of this holiday, on Saturday, June 21, 2025, Eastern Shore Juneteenth will be hosting their annual Juneteenth Parade & Festival in Downtown Salisbury from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m.

    To ensure the safety of participants and the smooth operation of the event, the following road closures will be in effect:

    Saturday, June 21 | 11 a.m. – 8 p.m.

    • Division Street from Rt. 50 to Circle Avenue

    • Main Street from W. Market Street to Court Street

    • Church Street from St. Peter’s Street to Division Street

    • Camden Street (full closure)

    Saturday, June 21 | 2 p.m. – 3:30 p.m.

    • W. Market Street from Circle Avenue to Mill Street

    Powell Building visitors and residents may access parking via Circle Avenue to W. Market Street. A traffic control official will be stationed at the intersection to ensure access is granted for residents during the road closure.

    The City encourages all residents and motorists to plan ahead and consider alternate routes while enjoying this important cultural celebration. Thank you for your patience and support.
