Single Lane Closures on the Route 50 Drawbridge to Disrupt Traffic Through the End of June

    June 4, 2024

SALISBURY, Maryland — The Maryland Department of Transportation will have a contractor performing work on the Route 50 Drawbridge in Salisbury, beginning on June 5, that will necessitate single lane closures daily between the hours of 9 a.m. – 3 p.m.
Repairs to the drawbridge will include steelwork, replacing roadway support purlins, retrofits, and joint seals.
Weather permitting, this work should be completed by the end of the month.
We understand that roadwork can be an inconvenience, and we are asking all motorists to plan for additional travel time and to please stay alert and be patient while driving through the work zone.
