SALISBURY, MD – As part of the City of Salisbury’s ongoing efforts to improve, repair, and maintain the Sewer Collection System, the Department of Waterworks Utilities Division will be conducting sinkhole repair work in the 600 block of West Main Street on Wednesday, June 3, 2026.
To safely complete the repairs, West Main Street will be closed to through traffic between Fitzwater Street and Germania Circle beginning at 9:00 a.m. Work is expected to be completed by approximately 3:30 p.m., weather and unforeseen conditions permitting.
Residents and motorists are encouraged to plan alternate routes and use caution when traveling in the area. All utility locators and Central Alarm have been notified of the scheduled work.
The City of Salisbury appreciates the public’s patience and cooperation during this necessary infrastructure repair.
