SALISBURY, Md. — As part of the City of Salisbury’s ongoing efforts to improve, repair, and maintain its water distribution system, the Department of Waterworks Utilities Division will replace a water service line in the 800 block of East William Street on Tuesday, June 2, 2026.
To accommodate this work, East William Street will be closed to through traffic between Naylor Street and Long Avenue. The roadway will be impassable to all through traffic beginning at 9:00 a.m. Work is expected to conclude by approximately 3:30 p.m., barring any unforeseen circumstances.
Residents and motorists are encouraged to seek alternate routes and use caution when traveling in the area. Utility locators and Central Alarm have been notified of the planned work.
The City of Salisbury appreciates the public’s patience and cooperation as crews complete these necessary infrastructure improvements.
