Salisbury, MD — The City of Salisbury partnered with Hope and Life Outreach (HALO) to serve hot meals at HALO’s Café on May 27, 2026. HALO’s Café has been a beacon of support for individuals experiencing hunger and homelessness in our community.
This day of service provided the City of Salisbury team with an opportunity to connect directly with the guests HALO serves every day. Team members worked alongside HALO staff and volunteers to serve individuals experiencing homelessness and hardship, offering an extra helping of compassion in a warm and welcoming environment.
The service opportunity reflects the City’s continued commitment to community engagement and supporting organizations that make a positive impact in Salisbury.
“Opportunities like this remind us of the importance of coming together as a community,” said Mayor Randy Taylor. “We’re grateful for organizations like HALO that work every day to support individuals and families facing difficult circumstances, and we were honored to spend time serving alongside their team.”
HALO continues to play a vital role in providing shelter, meals, resources and support services for those experiencing homelessness and hardship in the Salisbury area.
