SALISBURY, Maryland – Downtown Salisbury’s popular Friday Night Live concert series returns this week with a performance by the acclaimed artist Nelly’s Echo, taking the stage at Unity Square on Friday, May 23, 2025 from 6:30 – 9 P.M..
Road Closures Begin Friday, May 23:
- S. Division Street from Circle Avenue to Camden Street will be closed at 9:30 A.M. and reopen at 11 P.M.
- S. Division Street from Camden Street to Main Street will be closed at 5:30 PM and reopen at 10 P.M.
Nelly’s Echo, known for his soulful voice and genre-blending sound, brings a musical style described as “If Adele was born in Nigeria, vacationed in Jamaica, and listened to American folk music, you’ll hear the sound that is Nelly’s Echo.” His engaging performance style and storytelling lyrics promise an unforgettable evening for attendees of all ages.
In addition to live music, concertgoers can enjoy delicious food from local vendors, including the new Mad Tacos Food Truck. Beer and wine will be available for purchase on-site, and through the “Quick Bites Under City Lights” promotion, attendees can scan a QR code to unlock exclusive deals at participating Downtown restaurants—making it easy to grab a quick bite before or after the show.
