SALISBURY, Maryland – Downtown Salisbury will come alive this Friday, May 16, for 3rd Friday’s monthly celebration, with this month’s theme centered around “Paw Prints.” This pet-friendly event invites the community to bring their well-behaved furry friends downtown for a fun evening filled with music, activities, and small business charm.

- Downtown Plaza (Main Street from W. Market Street to Division Street)
- Division Street from Rt. 50 to Circle Avenue
Parking is free in Downtown Salisbury on nights and weekends with free 2 hour on street parking — just plan ahead and avoid closed areas.
From 5 to 8 P.M., the Downtown Plaza and Unity Square will be filled with live entertainment, local vendors, and family-friendly activities. Bryan Scar will be performing live on the Plaza, while Sympaticocious will bring their energy to the Unity Square stage. Visitors can enjoy a special pet training demonstration by K9 Heeling from 6:15 to 6:45 P.M. in Unity Square, as well as a free pet portrait station from 5:30 to 7:30 P.M., perfect for capturing a memory with your four-legged friend. Kids can also get creative with an animal-themed craft hosted by volunteers from Salisbury University’s Kappa Delta Pi honor society.
3rd Friday is more than an event—it’s a chance to experience the heart of Salisbury. Attendees are encouraged to explore local art, discover unique finds from vendors, and support the small businesses that help our community thrive.
