City of Salisbury Announces Free Live Concert on May 22

    May 12, 2026

Salisbury, MD. – The City of Salisbury invites the community to enjoy a free evening of live music and community at the Pohanka Riverwalk Amphitheatre on May 22 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Taking the stage is Great Train Robbery, a seasoned band with over 48 years of live performance experience. With a sound rooted in classic Southern rock, they bring an energetic and engaging show that mixes timeless influences with their own signature edge.

This event is free and open to the public, making it the perfect opportunity for families, friends, and music lovers of all ages to enjoy a night out in Downtown Salisbury.

Attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and enjoy nearby restaurants and shops before or after the show, further supporting the local downtown community.

Mayor Randy Taylor said, “I am very excited to announce a great partnership event between Savour Restaurant, located in the Hilton’s DoubleTree, and the City of Salisbury. The City of Salisbury is excited to bring Great Train Robbery to the Riverwalk Amphitheater. Great Train Robbery is a phenomenal band spanning over four decades, performing all over the Mid-Atlantic, as well as being an institution in Ocean City, MD. They have shared the stage with The Allman Brothers, the Marshall Tucker Band, and Blue Öyster Cult. Come out and enjoy this tremendous event while enjoying food and drinks!”

Food will be available for purchase, as well as adult beverages available for purchase from Savour.
