Salisbury, Maryland—As part of the City of Salisbury’s ongoing effort to keep the public informed of improvements within the city, please be advised that City crews will be affecting the flow of traffic along South Boulevard from Waverly Drive to Eastern Shore Drive as they install delineators in the buffer space along the bikeway on the street. The delineators increase safety by calming traffic, physically separating the bikeway from moving traffic, and preventing illegal parking in the bikeway, providing safer use of the bikeway and adjacent sidewalks. All driveway and parking lot entrances will unaffected by this improvement.
The work will be performed intermittently over the next few weeks, barring unforeseen problems or weather delays. Expect minor periodic traffic delays due to traffic pattern modifications between 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
We regret any inconvenience this may cause. Your patience and cooperation are greatly appreciated.
Should you have any questions or need clarification regarding this project, please contact William White with the City of Salisbury Department of Infrastructure and Development at 410-548-3170.
