    Rail upgrade to close East Carroll St. at Rt. 13 intersection through May 14

    Salisbury, Maryland – As part of the ongoing efforts of the Salisbury Department of Infrastructure & Development to keep the public informed of improvements within the City of Salisbury, please be advised that a private contractor will be affecting and closing the flow of vehicular traffic on Carroll St. from Rt. 13 to Eastern Shore Dr. for rail upgrades.

    The work will be performed between the hours of 7 a.m. and 5 p.m., starting on Friday, May 3, 2024, and will be completed on Tuesday, May 14, 2024, barring any unforeseen complications.

    The street will be closed for the full duration of work during this period. A detour will be available.
