    City of Salisbury to Conduct Water System Work on Riverside Road

    Salisbury, MD. — As part of the City of Salisbury’s ongoing efforts to improve, repair, and maintain its water distribution system, the Department of Waterworks Utilities Division will conduct test pitting in preparation for the installation of a 12-inch insertion valve.

    Work is scheduled to take place on Tuesday, April 28, 2026, in the 800 block of Riverside Road.

    During this time, Riverside Road will be closed to all through traffic between South Boulevard and Monticello Avenue. The road closure will be in effect from 9:00 a.m. to approximately 3:30 p.m., barring any unforeseen circumstances.

    All appropriate utility locators and Central Alarm will be notified in advance of this work.

    The City appreciates the public’s patience and cooperation as this important infrastructure project is completed.
