City of Salisbury Announces Rail Repaving Project at Marvel Rd. and Elizabeth St. Crossings

    April 19, 2024

Salisbury, Maryland – The City of Salisbury announces railroad paving beginning on April 22, 2024, and continuing through to April 24, 2024, repaving work will be conducted at the railroad crossings located at Marvel Rd. and Elizabeth St.

To facilitate the necessary upgrades, barriers will be strategically placed at both the Marvel Rd. and Elizabeth St. crossings. These barriers are vital for ensuring the safety of both workers and commuters during the repaving process.

Residents and commuters are advised to exercise caution and awareness when traveling through these areas during the specified dates. While the repaving work is underway, the public way will be obstructed to accommodate the necessary construction activities.

For additional information and updates regarding the rail repaving project, residents are encouraged to visit the City of Salisbury website or contact the Department of Infrastructure & Development at 410-548-3170.
