Storm Water Main Repair Scheduled for Dykes Road and South Division Street

    April 17, 2025

SALISBURY, Maryland – As part of the City of Salisbury’s ongoing commitment to infrastructure improvement and storm water system maintenance, the Department of Waterworks Utilities Division will be conducting a storm water main repair on Thursday, April 17, 2025.

The repair work will take place at the intersection of Dykes Road and South Division Street, beginning at 2:30 p.m. and is expected to conclude by 8:30 p.m., weather permitting and barring any unforeseen circumstances.

To ensure public safety and allow crews full access to the site:

    • Dykes Road will be impassable from South Division Street to Galway Circle.
    • Advanced warning signage will be posted at Balinadee Drive.
    • South Division Street will undergo a lane shift, and no turns will be permitted onto Dykes Road.
    • This closure includes all through traffic and emergency vehicles.

Access to residences and businesses in the area will be maintained throughout the duration of the work.

All locators and Central Alarm have been notified in advance.

We thank residents and motorists for their patience and cooperation as we continue working to enhance the city’s storm water infrastructure.

For further information, please contact the Utilities Division at 410-548-3103.
