    March 11, 2026

On Wednesday, Oct. 8, the City of Salisbury will continue its ongoing efforts to improve, repair and maintain the municipal sewer collection system. The Department of Waterworks Utilities Division will repair and fill a sinkhole located in the 600 block of Monroe Street.

To safely complete this work, Monroe Street will be closed to thru traffic between Washington Street and Prince Street. Crews expect to conclude this project around 3:30 p.m., barring any unforeseen circumstances.

All utility locators and Central Alarm have been notified.
