SALISBURY, Md. – The City is offering a FREE bulk pick-up for residents during the week of Monday, March 16 through Friday, March 20, 2026. Residents must schedule their pick-up in advance by Friday, March 13 at 12:00 p.m. noon to participate.
To schedule a bulk pick-up, residents should call the Department of Field Operations at 410-548-3177. When calling, please specify that you are requesting a free bulk pick-up during the week of March 16 and confirm your regular trash collection day. Requests received after the deadline may not be accommodated.
If you reach voicemail, leave a detailed message including your name, phone number, address, trash day, and the items to be picked up.
Important Guidelines:
- Limit of three bulk items per residence.
- Mattresses, box springs, or fabric-containing items must be wrapped in plastic and sealed with tape.
- Appliances and construction materials (wood, sinks, toilets, swing sets, etc.) are not included in the free pick-up.
- Multi-unit complexes are responsible for disposing of bulk items; City services do not include apartments or condos.
- Do not place bulk items in your trash or recycling bins.
- Items must be curbside by 6:00 a.m. on your scheduled trash/recycle day, preferably the night before.
